An independent literary press
Independent publishing for readers who believe literature matters.
Fantasy steeped in myth, consequence, and forbidden wonder.
Skylander Press is an independent literary press dedicated to original fiction, rediscovered classics, and the enduring power of storytelling. We believe good books reward curiosity. They invite readers into unfamiliar worlds, recover voices and ideas worth hearing again, and create conversations that continue long after the last page.

Follow the story as it unfolds and discover the characters, histories, and hidden machinery behind the tale.
Rediscovered classics
The Skylander Attic.
Old books, read again with fresh eyes.
Some remarkable books disappear not because they have nothing left to say, but because generations of newer books have crowded them from view.
The Skylander Attic returns to the strange, neglected, provocative, and enduring literature of the past.
Carefully prepared new editions, with accompanying editorial material.

More than books
It happens between people.
Skylander Press is being built as a place for people who care about literature. Alongside our publishing program, we are developing essays, literary conversations, readings, workshops, educational resources, and opportunities for writers, scholars, educators, publishing professionals, and readers to meet around the stories and ideas that matter to them. Because literature isn’t something that happens only between the covers of a book.
— it happens between people.
